Step#1 Design
The process begins with the design of the jewelry piece. This involves sketching the design on paper or using CAD software to create a digital model. The design phase is crucial as it sets the foundation for the entire manufacturing process.
Step#2 Model Making
Based on my experience, a physical model of the design is created using wax or other suitable materials. This model serves as a template for the casting process and allows the artisans to visualize the final piece before it is made. This step is pivotal in the jewellery manufacturing process flow chart.
Step#3 Casting
The model is used to create a mold, and then metal is poured into the mold to create the jewelry piece. This step involves melting the metal and pouring it into the mold, which is then cooled and hardened to form the piece. It is one of the essential steps to mass produce jewelry.
Step#4 Stone Setting
Gemstones are meticulously set into the piece by skilled artisans. This involves carefully placing each stone into its designated setting and securing it in place. Rexjewel’s artisans are highly skilled in this intricate process, ensuring that each stone is perfectly positioned and secured.
Step#5 Polishing and Finishing
The piece is then polished and finished to give it a beautiful and professional appearance. This involves smoothing out any rough edges and applying a finish to enhance the shine and luster of the metal and gemstones. This final step is crucial to complete the jewelry manufacturing process successfully.
